Terms of Use
Last updated: 24 June 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of MezzanineQuote.co.uk (the "site"), operated by Autaimate. By using the site and its tools, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. What the tools are — and are not
The compliance checkers and other tools on this site provide general informational guidance to help you understand how UK building regulations and planning rules may apply to a mezzanine floor. They are not, and must not be relied on as:
- a Building Control submission or approval;
- professional structural, engineering, fire-safety, or legal advice;
- a guarantee that a design is or is not compliant.
Every result is a starting point. Final compliance must be confirmed by a qualified structural engineer and your local Building Control body before you build.
3. Accuracy
We take care to base the tools on primary sources — including Approved Documents B and K and the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 — and to check the figures we use. However, regulations change and individual projects vary, so we do not warrant that the tools are complete, current, or correct for your specific situation. You are responsible for verifying any result before acting on it.
4. Quotes
If you submit an enquiry through the quote form, any quote or estimate we provide is indicative and not a binding offer unless we confirm it in writing. Providing your details places you under no obligation.
5. Our liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the tools or any information on this site. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
6. Intellectual property
The content, design, and tools on this site are owned by Autaimate unless stated otherwise. You may use the tools to assess your own projects, but you may not copy, republish, or resell them without our permission.
7. Links to other sites
This site may link to third-party websites, including the quote form provider and source documents. We are not responsible for the content or availability of those sites.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.
